Located near the base of the Akakura Onsen ski and snowboard resort in Myoko (Niigata Prefecture), Kougakuro is a Japanese-style ryokan offering traditional hot springs and a Japanese-style vacation experience.
These rates are per adult, per night and include stay and breakfast.

From Tokyo, take the Nagano Shinkansen to Nagano Station (90 minutes), then the local Shinetsu Line to Myoko Kogen Station (40 minutes). From Myoko Kogen Station, Akakura Onsen is a 15 minute journey by bus or taxi.
If you are travelling from Narita Airport, take the Narita Express train to Tokyo Station.
Drive north through Nagano on the Nagano/Joshinetsu Expressway up into Niigata and get off at Myoko Kogen IC. From there Akakura Onsen is a 15 minute drive.
